Javier Hilario

Javier Hilario is the main tailor of Hilario's Tailor company.

He has been sewing from a very young age where he learned how to make custom suits in Peru. He worked for Men's Warehouse for over 25 years and Nordstrom for 12 years.

He loves to help people feel comfortable in their clothes.

One of his biggest accomplishments is having the opportunity to customize suits.

While all services are done in English, Javier is fluent in both English and Spanish.

  • How late can I cancel? 1 hour before your appointment starts.

    Is there a cancellation fee? No, there is currently no cancelation fee.

  • Can I do a walk-up? No. Since we do not have a shop yet, all services must be scheduled in advance.

    What can I expect at an appointment? When you arrive, your measurements will be taken. You and the tailor will discuss your expectations and outcomes of the desired clothes and all your options that are available to you. Finally, the tailor will provide you with the price, based on your specific needs, and when the item(s) will be finished. Typically, appointments take less than 30 minutes.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept? We prefer cash.

    How is the price determined? The price is determined based on your specific needs and the amount of work that will need to be done.

    Does it cost extra during the holidays? No, we do not charge you extra for the holidays.

    Does it cost extra to rush the order? No, we do not charge you extra to rush the order.

    Do you require an upfront deposit? If the quoted price is over $200, we request that you pay 50% of the quoted price upfront.
